A: Good morning. Please have a seat.

Good morning. Thank you.

B: May I have your name and address?

May name is ... and I live in ... City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Exact address?

B: No. That’s OK.

A: Do you like movies?

Yes, I do.

A: Do you prefer dubbed or subtitled ones ?

I prefer subtitled one.

A: Why do you prefer ...?

Because I want to listen to English conversation in movies. I really want to improve my listening ability, so I choose subtitled ones whenever I watch a movie.

A: What about other people ? Do you think they also choose subtitled ones?

I think they want to listen to real English, too.

A: What kind of movies do you like?

A: You watch repeatedly ....

Well, I watched the “Last Samurai” a couple of times. “Sound Of Music”
and “Gone With The Wind” are my favorites.

A: What is good about “Gone With The Wind"?

The main actor and actress are so fascinating to me.

A: What do you think of the royal wedding which was reported recently ?

I think it’s wonderful. Maybe she was looking for someone, but in her position it might be difficult for her to find a prospective partner. I’m happy to hear that Princess Nori met Mr. Kuroda, an ordinary man, and decided to marry in an ordinary way.

A: Is it an ordinary wedding ?

Oh, a royal wedding is not ordinary. I mean it was not an arranged marriage by a go‐between. Her brother, Prince Akishino, recommended his own friend to her. I think it was natural.

A: Did you enjoy staying in Hakata?

No, I didn’t.

I was going to take this interview, so I was nervous and couldn’t enjoy Hakata very much.

A: I see. It's over. You can enjoy Hakata now.

If you have time, would you come to my home town? You'll be welcomed by beautiful scenery and delicious food.
