Good afternoon.

A, B, C: Good afternoon.

B: Please sit down. Tell us your name and where you live.

My name is ○○○○. I live in ○○○○.
A: Now I’m going to ask you some questions. Which do you think will win, smokers or non-smokers?

As a matter of fact, today is the last day of smoking for me. I asked my wife to allow me to smoke until today, because this is a very important day for me. I thought I would be very nervous and I would not do a good job without smoking.

Was my answer too personal?

A: That’s OK. What do you think of Japanese women washing their hands in men’s bathrooms?

Well, that is the case of middle-aged women, I guess. That is because we Japanese gentlemen are very polite to women. So we let them use ours.

Wasn’t it a good explanation?

A: What do Japanese want to learn English?

That is because we want to learn more. English is a must for broadening our perspective and knowledge, especially in this Internet age. English is the best means to communicate and to widen our perspective. So we really want to learn English.

A: What do you think of Mr. Koizumi’s women cnadidates members.

In my opinion, it’s much better than behind-the-scene wheeling and dealing.

I don’t disagree his policy of reform, but I do not agree to his democratic process of the politics. He is not democratic enough, and there are too many women he loves.

A: Ok, that’s all.

Really?

Thank you. Have a good day.
