Good morning !
A&B: Good mornig (Aは平静、Bは笑顔で)
B: Good morning. What is your name?

My name is ***
B: Where are you from?
I live in ... 60km away from the southernmost part of ....
B: Wow. You came from very far place.
Yes.
A: Well , (私が外国人観光客で、あなたがガイドとしてお答え下さい)
Yes.
A: Why do so many Japanese love hot springs?
Japanese consider getting into bath not just as taking a bath.?? For Japanese, to get in hot spring is to be being in a social community. For example, when we get into hot springs, we take off our clothes. That means we are totally honest because we obviously don't have anything to hide. Also, we go to a hot spring or public bath because it is a place of communication, too.
A: I see. Why are there many hot springs in Japan?
Because there are many volcanoes in Japan. In fact, there are 108 active volcanoes in Japan. There are 1,500 in the world. This means about 10%, or a little bit less, of active volcanoes in the world.
A: Is Mt.Fuji an active volcano?
Yes, but it last erupted nearly 300 years ago.
A: So it is an active volcano?
Yes, in present definition, it is considered to be an active volcano.
A: OK, thank you. (次は日本の歴史に関する質問ですが、みたいなことを言ってから)I know there are samurai in Edo period, but, apart from samurai, what types of people are there ?
what types of people"が「えっ?」
There are ordinary people, of course. They are most of the Japanese. And they suffered from making living. Foods are scarce and tax rate was quite high, so they have to work and work. Also, there were feudal lords. They governed directly fiefs. Although Shogun governed directly Japan, feudal lords governed fiefs.
A: There are many places famous for good quality of snowfall. Please tell me one of the most famous places?
Well, one of the most famous places for it is Hokkaido. Hokkaido is close to Russia, so it is very cold. And Hokkaido is the most northern main island and facing Japan Ocean. So there is lots of humid air and it gets into the land. Then, it becomes heavy snowfall.
A: Japanese are fond of taking a bath. How often do most Japanese take a bath? (most Japanese
Most Japanese take a bath once a day, but some, especially young ladies, take a morning bath or shower too. I myself take a bath once a day.
A: Which do you like, shower or bath?
I prefer to take a bath.
A: Oh, Ok.
Excuse me, but that was a same question.(こう答えたところで、遮るようにB氏が会話を始める。)
What kind of a tour guide do you want to be after passing this exam?

I'm a tour guide now. I introduce and show the natural beauty of Japan to Japanese people. So I really want to do the same thing to foreign tourists. Since nature is closely related to the Japanese culture, if I introduce its natural beauty in details, that eventually connects to the story of culture. Even if I live in a small island, I can introduce the natural beauty and Japanese culture, too. So I want to be this kind of tour guide.
B: Are there many foreign tourists coming to ...??
Well, not many(きちんとした文で答えていなかった), because there are not many information (muchであるべきだった) and not many people who speak English. That's why I really want to be a tour guide.
B: Thank you very much.
A: Thank you, you have good knowledge! You know very well.

Well, thank you. I'm training.(training
B: Well, Thank you.
Thank you, too.
