Good morning! A, C: Good morning. May I leave these here? C: Yes, please leave them beside the table. Thank you. C: Please tell us your name. My name is .... C: Where do you live? I live in ... in Tokyo. C: Thank you. A: Ok, Mr. ... I will ask you some questions so please relax and answer them. I understood. A: Recently many Japanese people take aroma therapy or massage. What do you think of this trend and what is the reason for them to be cured? I think this is because Japanese people are always under the pressure in the
office or even in their private lives. In order to maintain good health mentally
and physically, they want to be cured by taking massages or aroma therapy. Do you think their attitude is influenced by Western countries? I think so. While I was working in New York, may office workers and some of my colleagues used massage service at sports clubs, took the chiropractic treatment or enjoyed aroma therapy at home. A: Ok. Next question is relating to the current job market. It is called as super ice market. What do you think of this this situation and is there an way to solve this issue? As you know the current unemployment rate is around 5.3% and is quite high compared with that ten years ago which was around 2.2%. The current situation of job market is quite difficult but I think there is a way to solve this issue. According to the survey shown on the newspaper, the main reason why the unemployed people are unable to get a good job is because they are not skilled nor trained to meet the job requirement. Therefore, job training and education to level up their skill and quality is essential and indispensable. This should be done by the Government or public institutions immediately, I believe. A: Ok thank you. The final question is ONIGIRI. Please tell me how to make it. In order to make ONIGIRI, we prepare steamed rice and put pickles, umeboshi, thinly sliced bonito with soy source in side the steamed rice and form it as triangle or oval shape. We also prepare dried seaweed, laver and wrap the rice. ONIGIRI is a very handy and tasty food and can be taken for picnic or many occasions. A: Have you ever mad ONIGIRI? Yes, when I was working in New York, I was living alone and I asked my wife how to make good lunch for me and she taught me how to make ONIGIRI efficiently. A: So your wife trained you how to make good lunches.(笑い) That's right. Thank you. Nice to be with you. Thank you. |
