A: Please sit down.（このようなこと。seatを使ったか忘れた。）
A: What is your name?
My name is ...... I live in .... which is 50 km southwest of Tokyo.
The main reason is our food. Compared to the food Westerners eat, we Japanese have been taking vegetable-oriented food. When we took protein, we mainly ate tofu which is made from soybean. After 1868 we began to eat meat, but we eat relatively less meat than Westerners do.
A: What do you think of walking activities among people in their 50s or 60s these days?
I think it's very good for their health. Walking is said to be better than jogging. It can consume extra fat than jogging. I am no scientist and don't know the reason, but it's good for elderly people.
B: Do you walk yourself?
I rather jog than walk.
A: How do you explain ohigan to people coming to Japan?
Ohigan is a week before and after the vernal and autumnal equinox day. We go to our ancestors' graves and pay respects to them. We do so even if we don't believe in certain religions in our daily life. That's the way we Japanese are.
