C: Hello.

Good morning

C: Please sit down.

Thank you.

C: May I have your name?

My name is ○○.

C: Where do you live?

I live in Kawagoe.

C: I don't know where Kawagoe is. Please tell me where Kawagoe is.
(こんな感じだったと思う)

Kawagoe is in the western part of Saitama.

C: How long did it take to come here?

It took me an hour and a half.

A: Now, I'm going to ask you a few questions.

Yes.

A: Why do so many Japanese go to English schools?

Conversation schools?

A: Yes.

Because there are many Japanese these days who would like to work for international business.
And if a person has a high score of TOEIC, TOEFL, he can be promoted.
That is why many Japanese go to English schools.

A: Are Japanese good at speaking English?

(よく聞き取れなかったので困ったが、こんな質問だと思って次のように答えたがこれでよかったのだろうか。不安)
No, I don't think so. Japanese is quite different from English.
So it is difficult for them to master.

C: Do you go to Onsen?(こんな質問だったと思う。)

Yes. I like hot springs very much.
I can relax there.

C: Why can you relax there?(もっと長かった。)

Hot springs are located at beautiful spots in many cases.
So I can enjoy seeing beautiful scenery and relax when I take a bath.
(どういう文脈だったか忘れたが入浴剤のことになり)
Some managers of Shirahone Onsen poured bath powder and deceived the customers.
This was a big problem.

A: Tell me about tea ceremony.(もっと長かった)

Tea ceremony is a traditional Japanese art of serving powder tea. It was popular among the samurai warriors in the Edo period, but nowadays it is popular among women.
Tea masters of the Edo period could live to be 70 or 80 years old.
They enjoyed a long life. Powder tea is very good for the health.

C: That's all.

Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity.

日本人の試験官がかなり質問をしてきたのは意外だった。
雰囲気はフレンドリー。頭の中が真っ白になるような質問はなかったが、文法的ミスはかなりおかしたと思う。
今思い出したがaging societyについても質問された。
