B : Where do you live?

I live in Matsudo City in Chiba Prefecture.

A : (何かOK, Let's startのような事を言った後)First question. Why do Japanese use umbrella when it doesn't rain?

Oh, it's called "Higasa". People use it to make shade or to cool themselves. A lot of old women use it. It's a kind of fashion.

A : Only old women use it?

No, many young women use it too. It's a kind of fashion.

A : Next, has Japanese eating habit changed?

Yes, Japanese eating habit has changed. Compared to my mother's age, young people eat fatty food and meat. Actually, I had a medical check in June and my cholesterol level was very high. So I'm very worried.(3人とも笑う)

A : What's "Butsudan"?

Butsudan is an altar. Family which lost a member of the family has it. My father passed away seven years ago. So there is an altar in my house. My mother prays for my father every day. Today, she prayed for my success in this test. (3人とも笑う)

A : Does every family have it?

No, only the family which lost a member of the family.

A : Is it expensive?

No, there are some cheap ones.

A : Thank you very much. That's all.

Thank you. I enjoyed talking with you.(日本語で)ありがとうございました。

(はじめの質問は "Why do Japanese people use umbrella when it's sunny?"だったのでBecause とかToで答えるべきなのを、"It's called Higasa"の後に To?
