B: Good afternoon.

Good afternoon.

B: 荷物は、後ろのテーブルにおいてください。

はい。

B: Please sit down.

Thanks.

B: May I ask your name and address?

My name is ○○○, and you’re asking my address?

B: Yes.

I live in Tsukuba City.

A: Let me ask you several questions.

A: Why do Japanese salary men work so hard?

I think it is because of tradition. Several decades ago, people had many things to do as Japan was in a developing stage. Now, the government encourages them to work less, but it is difficult to change.

A: Why do many people buy bottled water?

Increasing number of people buy bottled water these days instead of tap water. Most cities have a good system of providing drinking water. But people are concerned about water quality, and they prefer clear water to just drinkable water. Some water may contain lead because some pipes are not replaced yet.

A: Why do many women in their thirties remain single?

There are many reasons. Basically, people are reluctant to make a decision, and there is less pressure on marriage than before. Another reason is that we are affluent now. The parents may want to stay with their daughters.

A: Much time is spent in on-line games by young generations. What do you think about that?

Could you repeat the question?

A: Much time is spent in on-line games by young generations. What do you think about that?

I don’t think it is a good thing. They’re communicating with someone invisible. It’s not a real communication. They should communicate in a real life.

A: How do you explain the gagaku to foreigners?.

Gagaku is a very old traditional Japanese music. The tone is simple compared to western music. And musical instruments are also simple..... like shakuhachi..... completely different from such as flute.

B: Thank you. Thank you very much.
(面接が終わりであることをほのめかすように、笑顔で発言。)
