A： Good morning.
B： What is your name and where do you live?
My name is ********** and I am from ******-ku, Tokyo.
A： Nice to meet you. My name is *******.
Nice to meet you, too.
A： I am going to ask you some questions. What is HACHIMAKI?
OK. HACHIMAKI is a piece of cloth. You put it around your head.（身振りをつけた） It is supposed to make you（言葉にすこし詰まって間） do well. Some people use it when studying. For example, some people may used it to study for the guide exam.（ここで、試験官のＡ，Ｂの方は笑ってくれました）
A： Is it used in such events as sports day?
Yes, they do use them in sports events.（少し言葉が足りなかったとあせりましたが、助け舟を出してもらえたので雰囲気は悪くはなかったように思います。
A： Please tell me about the Royal Family.
Yes. We have the Royal Family in Japan. Present Emperor is Emperor Akihito. He is the 125th emperor. Recently there are a lot of things about the Royal Family talked in newspapaers. One of the reason is Princess Nori was married recently, in November. The other reason is, the panel on royal succession had a report, I think yesterday, no, on Friday. It says the female emperor is allowed and also says first born child will be the next emperor.
A： OK. Do you follow politics?
Yes, a little. I studied because I am taking the guide exam.（ここでもＡ，Ｂのお二人はニッコリ。私はなにか難しいことを聞かれたらどうしようと、ドキドキしていました。）
A： Recently many people do not pay NHK fees. What do you think about that?
I think it is not right not to pay. I think that making good programs
take lots of money. Other private broadcasting companies make programs
that are not very good. They make such programs that are just easy to
watch or just fun. Many people do not pay NHK fees because there was a
scandal. Many people feel that it is not(fairという単語が出てこなくてしばらく間) many people
feel that it is not right.
A： OK. Where did you learn English?
I was an exchange student when I was a sophomore in high school and went to the United States. After I came back to Japan and graduated, I went to Michigan State University.
A： Did you graduate?
Yes, I graduated from Michigan State University.
A： What did you study?
My major was Social Science, International relations.
A： OK. That’s good. I am going to ask you another …(時間があまりないことに気づき) OK, that’s all. It was nice talking to you.
Thank you. Nice talking to you, too.
