A. Good afternoon. Please sit down: (ニコニコ。)

Good afternoon.

A. Please tell me your name and address:( にこにこ)

My name is XXXX
My address is 393 XXX XXX XXXX

Yes, in fact it takes only 15 minutes to come here from my house.

B. Now I am going to ask some questions:

OK.

B. What is the charm of Japanese summer?:

Well, although it is not only hot but also humid in Japanese summer, we have a lot of events or festivals including fireworks displays. You can enjoy a wide variety of beautiful fireworks in summer. Also, at these events, many women enjoy wearing a summer cotton kimono called “yukata”. Fireworks displays and yukata are the charm of Japanese summer.

B. OK, if you take foreign tourists to such an event, where do you take them to? Could you recommend?:

Well, there are many fireworks displays taking place here and there during summer and they are all similar in size, so it is hard to choose only one. But I would dare to choose the fireworks display which takes place at Lake Biwa on 8th of August because I believe they can enjoy not only a wide variety of beautiful fireworks, but also the breathtaking scenery around. Therefore, I would take them there. But you should know trains are busy on the day.(全員笑)

B.Next question. Could you recommend any good history museum?:

There is a museum which is very close to Kyoto station. I do not remember whether or not it is a history museum, but they recently had the exhibition of EMAKIMONO, or picture scroll. For now I can only think of the one.

B. Next question. Japanese people are highly skilled in every job. They are highly motivated. Why is that?:

First of all, many Japanese feel that the company that they work for is like a family. So, it is no wonder that they want to contribute a lot to their own company by acquiring high-quality skills. Secondly, Japanese people tend to value diligence. So, they are willing to make efforts to develop themselves.

B. The final question. The young people of these days change their jobs very often. What do you think about that?:

Although I think it is good to take a better paying job, you should work for the same company for long enough if you want to acquire special skills or knowledge. Also, if you keep changing jobs, you will not be able to build firm relationships with your peers.

B. Thank you.
