B: Can I ask your name?
My name is XXX.
B: Where do you live?

I live in YYY ward, ............
A: Do you have rainy season in Japan?

Yes, we have. Rainy season begins about a middle of June, and lasts about a month. This rain is needed by the farmers at rice-planting time. It is very sticky and humid, especially if you get on the train.
A: Does rainy season begin in the entire Japan same time?

No. Rainy season begins from Okinawa (southernmost island). Then, it gradually goes up northward to Aomori Prefecture in Honshu (main island). It stops there. It won't go up to Hokkaido (northernmost island). Hokkaido does not have rainy season at all.
A: If I visit Japan in summer, would you recommend visiting Hokkaido?

Yes. In summer Hokkaido is cooler than rest of Japan. You can enjoy comfortable weather. Hokkaido has lots of beautiful scenery such as Shiretoko peninsula, a World Heritage site. You can enjoy watching wildlife, too.
A: Yes, I've heard about it. What is the difference between Shinto shrine and Buddhist temple?

Shinto shrine has a torii gate. Torii consists of two upright posts connected at the top with two horizontal crosspieces. Buddhist temple has Buddhist statue, pagoda, cemetery and so on.
A: Tell me a little about history of Meiji era to World War 2? I mean how Japan modernized?

Japan was trying to catch up with Western civilization from Meiji era. Beforehand, Japan had isolation policy not to contact foreign countries. They changed education system, industry and so on. They became militaristic. They tried to colonize Asian countries. But, they couldn't. They were defeated at World War 2. (歴史にうとい私にはこれぐらいが精一杯でした。最低。)
A: What fish can I catch in the sea?

You can catch sardine, mackerel and so on. (船を借りて沖に出れば大きな魚を釣れると言えば良かったが,釣りをしないのでとっさに思いつかなかった。)Big fish like yellowtail, tuna and so on are coming from other countries. About 50% of fish they eat in Japan are imported.
A: I can catch sardine, huh?

Yes. (魚をよく食べる日本人としては最低の答えだった。)
A: If I take hot spring wearing swimming suite on, what would you say?

Oh, no. You can't wear swimming suite when you take hot spring. You're supposed to take off all your clothes, and then you go inside the tub. If you take hot spring wearing swimming suite, that'll be very rude. But, you can take towel with you.
A: Towel, huh? What food would you recommend if I visit Japan for the first time?

I recommend sukiyaki. Sukiyaki is a thinly sliced beef, tofu (soybean curd), onion and shiitake (black) mushroom are cooked in a pan at the table. Sugar, soy sauce and sake are added for flavor. If you drink sake, that'll be very good. If you share sukiyaki with your friends, you can deepen your friendship with them.
A: Sukiyaki and sake, huh?
B: That's it for today.

Thank you.
