A: Ah so. When do you have typhoons?
From July to early December we have typhoons. But that depends on situation. In a certain year we have lots of typhoons, but in another year we don't have much.
A: Tell me what I should do when an earthquake happens.
If you are staying in a big gorgeous hotel, you had better be there. If you are in an old fashioned Japanese inn, you should go away and stay in a broad vacant area such as road and a park.
A: Tell me about "enka".
Until 20 years ago people had liked to sing enka. But today it is outdated. But at New Year's Eve we have a big TV show named "KOHAKU UTA GASSEN". In most years enka singer such as Kitajima Saburo and Kobayashi Sachiko are the last singers.
A: Can you sing an enka at Karaoke?
Yes, we can sing an enka in Karaoke studios.

In winter in Pacific coast of Japan is very dry because high pressure in Siberia causes a wind in Japan Sea side of Japan and brings rain and snow there. Because of Central Mountains Pacific Coast side is dry.
A: What is the best electric goods shop in Akihabara?
I recommend you to go to Yodobashi. It is the biggest and is in front of the Akihabara station. You cannot miss it.
A: Tell me about Japanese female rulers.
You mean governors or something?
A: Emperors or Prime ministers.
We have not had female prime minister. Before Meiji Restoration we had eight female emperors.
A: Really? I didn't know that. It is impossible, isn't it?
Now a woman cannot become an emperor. But we had eight female emperors. The origin of Japan, AMATERAS OOMIKAMI was female.
A: This is the last question. Tell ma about the difference among GEIGI, GEISHA and MAIKO.
That's my favorite question. In Kyoto GEIKO is an independent GEISHA and MAIKO is younger than GEIKO and is under training. In Eastern Part of Japan, we say GEISHA instead of GEIKO. We usually don't say GEIGI. It is same with GEIKO.
