A:How do you spend the New Year holidays with your family?
I always spend the New Year holidays with my family. I go to a shrine or temple with my family to pray for happiness for the year and long life. A variety of ingredients are prepared and carefully arranged(懐石料理の説明をしかけた!早くおわらせなきゃ!) in a set of layered lacquered boxes.(ジェスチャーを交えて)Something like this.
A: Buckweat noodle?
Well...We eat buck...buckwheat noodles on the New Year's Eve, not during the New Year holiday. Buckwheat noodles or Soba is a homophone for a word, which means "being close". So, this signifies the approach of the new year.

Thank you very much for today.
Thank you very much for today.
