（昨年は緊張しすぎて最初の挨拶からして失敗したので今年は日本語も含め元気よく笑顔で）失礼します。こんにちは。よろしくお願いいたします。Hello. Nice to meet you. May I put my bag and coat here?
B:Sure. Hello. Nice to meet you.
A:Please take a seat. May I have your name and where you live?
My name is XX and I live in ..... , in .... prefecture.
B:If suddenly an earthquake happens, what should I do?
I think you should hide under the desk.
B:When is the typhoon season?
Typhoon season is mostly during summer. Many typhoons hit Japan from July through September.
B:Why is Tokyo so dry?
Do you mean the weather in Tokyo?
I think it is because Japan is a mountainous country. About two-thirds of Japan's land area is mountainous and the central Honshu of mainland is the most mountainous area. Influenced by ocean currents and monsoons, the wet air coming from northwest is blocked by the mountains, so only dry air came to Kanto area, centering around Tokyo Besides, there are many high-rises in Tokyo. That may be the one reason.
B:What's the difference between Geisha, Geiko, Maiko and Geigi?
I haven't heard the term "Geigi", it may be the same as Geisha. I'm not sure completely about Geisha or Maiko but I believe that the difference between Geisha and Maiko is that Maiko is an acolyte Geisha and very young. Even teenagers are included to apprentice Geisha.
B: Ah. You know difficult words! Have Japan had any female rulers?
（Bが早口でちょっとアクセントがあるのでききづらかった）Could you say that again?
Yes, we had. Japan had a few female rulers such as Emperor Suiko in ancient time.
B:Don't you have any recently?
No, we don't have any female emperor under the present Imperial Household Law.
B:Don't you think it unfair?
I don't think it fair, but the Imperial Family puts much importance on tradition. I think it's ok because it has nothing to do with commoners.
Enka is a distinctive melodic style or genre of Japanese songs. It mostly attracts(appeals to と言おうとしたがこうなってしまった）rather older age groups. The themes of enka are broken heart, sorrow and separation and so on. It is rather humid...
B:Humid...? What do you mean?
It's not an appropriate word.
B:But I understand what you mean.
I'm trying to say.....not pleasant. I'd rather sing more cheerful songs.
B:Oh, I see.
Where is the best store in Akihabara?
(予想外の問題にちょっとびっくり)I'm not completely sure about electronic shops but…Ishimaru Denki is famous…and Yodobashi camera, Sofmap is also famous…
B:I mean the BEST store.
I do not much about electronic shops but I think those stores are very large, so I would recommend you go there.
B:That's all. Thank you.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed talking with you.
