A:How are you?(Aは終始ニコニコ、つられて私もニコニコ)
Fine, thank you.
A:Is it cold outside?
Excuse me?
A:Is it cold outside?
No, it’s warm!
A:Good! Now, may I ask your name?
My name is .... A:Where do you live?
I live in .... city, next city to Tokyo, and--- A:(何か言おうとしたが) Oh, go ahead!
.... is famous as an industrial town.
A:Oh, is there any tourist spot?
Yes, Kawasaki-daishi temple is famous, and many people visit there on the New Year’s Eve. A:Do you recommend visiting there?
Yes, of course!
A:Where are you originally from?
I was born in .....
Excume me?
..... It’s a small town. Its population is about--- less than 200,000.
It is famous for brick building.
A:Brick building?
Yes, red brick warehouse is a famous place.
B:(初めて発言)Is it used as a warehouse?
No, it was used as a warehouse before, but now it is used---
B:As restaurants---
Yes, restaurants and shops. There is a canal, and along the canal, the brick warehouse---(さえぎられたように思う)
A:Is there another attraction?
.... is famous for seafood. Many people visit there.
A:Sounds wonderful. Next question. Why is it dry in Tokyo in winter?
Excuse me?
Why? Dry in winter?
A:Yes.
Well----Hmm---(困った。 そうだ、300選で行こう!)The climate is influenced by geographical location, winter monsoon, ocean currents and topography. That’s the reason.
A:OK. Now, I will ask a historical question.
Well--- I’m not so sure --- but several empress in Japanese history.
It’s because traditionally we have had emperors.(ダメだ、何か言わなくては)Some years ago, we had a controversy if woman can become an empress, because there was no boy in the Imperial family, but after that, fortunately, a prince was born. So that was good.
A:Do you have any electric store you want to recommend?
(少し考え)Yamada denki! I have bought a computer some years ago.(と初歩的文法ミス)
A:You bought a computer?
Yes! Yamada denki is the cheapest ones.
A:Now, it’s the last question. What motivated you to become a tour guide?
I work for a trading company, and I have opportunities to entertain guests from abroad. And I have found to entertain people is more interesting and exciting than my regular job, that’ why I would like to become a professional tour guide.
A:Oh, that motivated you.
Yes!
A:Well, thank you これで終わりです。
Thank you very much.
A,B:Good bye!
Good bye!
