Good afternoon!(と言って、部屋に入る。)

Put your bag on the seat.

On the seat...Yes.

What your name?

My name is ........ .

Where do you live?

I live in ........ ward.

Oh!

What part of ........ do you live?

I live near the park ,........ という感じだったので)We have the oldest arcade in Japan there.

OK,Please answer my questions. I'm a tourist, and you are a tour guide. OK?

Yes.

In the park,I saw trees rolled with straw. What's that?

Is that wide one?

Yes,wide one.

I think it's to protect trees from insects. You can see like those in Kenrokuen in Kanazawa.(なるほど、とAがうなずいたように思う)But in this season, trees already have such things? I wonder if it is a straw rope?(もしかしてやっぱり注連縄の事を聞いているのかと思い、再度聞いてみた。)

No, wide one.

Yes, it's to protect them from insects during the winter.

Next question. I heard,in the past, there were 53 stations in Japan. Would you explain more about that?

(これも全く予想外)Yes...There were 53 stations in the past. It started from Tokyo(江戸日本橋だったと後で気づく). Shinagawa was also one of the station.(と言って、にっこり笑う)At that time, they didn't have transportation system, so people traveled on their foot.(この場合、theirはいらないと後で知る。)When people got tired, they took rest there.

OK, I would like to go to Todaiji temple. How would you explain about it?

Todaiji is famouse for the large statue of Buddha. It houses the large statue of Buddha. It was built in Nara period, so it lasted about 1300years.(東大寺については、直前セミナーでやったばかりなのに、大仏の大きさや日本最大の木造建築だということを付け加えられず、反省・・・)

What has brought the Edo period to the Meiji period?(どのように聞かれたか、よく覚えてない・・・)

I beg your pardon? You are asking me why Edo period changed to the Meiji period?(自分もどのように聞いたか良く覚えてない・・・)

Yes.

Well, yes, at that time, the Tokugawa government lasted over 200years, about 270years. In the end, the Tokugawa government had a lot of problems. At that time, lower class warriors raised their power to overthrow Tokugawa government. Also, Western countries, especially American Commodore Matthew Perry came with his squadron to require Tokugawa government to quit its national isolation policy and open the country. As those power were put together, Tokugawa government relinquished its power to the emperor.

OK,and the last question. I don't have cash money. What should I do?

There are ATM. You can withdraw your money from ATM system.

OK,That's all.

Is that all?(と、聞いてしまった。)

Yes,that's all for today.(B

Thank you.

Have a nice day.

Thank you very much. You too.
