May I have your name?

My name is ........

Your name is difficult to read.

Yes, it is difficult to read.

Where do you live?

I live in ........ city, ........ prefecture.

Wow, so far.

Not so far.

How long does it take?

It took about one hour.

Are you working?

Yes. I teach English at high school.

We have many English teachers today.

Really?

Why do you want to be a tour guide?

って感じで、用意したとおり話す)I have two reasons. One is that I love Japan, Japanese culture and Japanese nature. I want to introduce them to foreign travelers. The second one is related to my job. As I said before I teach English. I have been teaching English to students, hoping some of them will use English to contribute to the international society. Three years later I am to retire this job. Then that will be my turn. I myself want to contribute to the international society as a tour guide. These are my reasons.

So you want to contribute. I want to ask you something. What is different between udon and soba?

Both are Japanese noodles. While Udon is white noodles made from wheat flour, soba is brown noodles made from buckwheat flour.

Both are eaten in the same way ?

Yes I think so. They are eaten in much the same way. They are served either chilled with a dipping sauce, or in hot broth as a noodle soup.

Which do you like better?

I like soba better.

I like udon.

Next I want to ask you some historical things. What is the Heian Era?

“Heian” means peace and tranquility. The Heian era is the period in Japanese history when Confucianism and other Chinese influences were actively adopted into Japan. The Heian era is also considered the peak of Japanese imperial court and is known for art, especially poetry and literature.

I know what you mean.

How long have you lived in ........?

For now I have lived in ........ for more than half of my life. I like ........ very much. We have Enoshima and the Shonan coast. The climate is mild.I always feel good in the sea breeze. I really love my hometown, .........

You seem to like ........ very much. If I go to ........, where do recommend for travel?

First, I would recommend Kamakura. In Kamakura you can enjoy seeing scenic and historic spots and eating delicious traditional Japanese dishes. Next, you should visit Hakone. Hakone has many places of very beautiful scenic beauty. And you can enjoy soaking in comfortable hot springs and seeing beautiful nature. You can appreciate colored autumn leaves these days. Also you can have a great view of Mt. Fuji there on sunny days.

You really like ........

Yes, I have many recommended places in ........

How about Tokyo?

I am a kind of rural person. As I said before, I was born in ........ and My university was also in ........ and now I work in ........ So, I do not have so many recommended places in Tokyo. However, Tokyo is a city full of dynamic energy and is the center of Japan in many ways. There are a wide variety of boutiques, hotels, eating and drinking places. So, you can enjoy shopping and eating if you do not care the urban hustle and bustle. Also you can learn Japanese culture at various museums, art galleries and theaters there.

Interesting. (Aに)Do you have anything else to say?

No, I do not.

That's all for today.

Thank you very much.

Bye.
